The moon was setting veRy early last Saturday morning. It was a typical cold Winter night, only the sky was clear... not cloudy like it had been for days. I gazed out at the perfect scene of the moon shining through the trees making long shadows on the snow. I thought, nothing could make this more beautiful, but then a few clouds floated by and made a rainbow halo around the moon, as if thanking it for a job well done. A special moment of beauty and peace. This picture can only capture a part of the breathtaking scene that unfolded in this early moment. The still trees, crystal clear sky, long shadows on the snow, until the clouds greeted the moon, right before the dawn. May you find a special moment today that causes you to pause, notice its beauty, and takes your breath away. If we only knew what happens behind the scenes to create all these beautiful

Sometimes, I feel like life is a puzzle, where I need to figure out how all the pieces fit together... which pieces to use and which to set aside. And at times, some pieces don’t seem all that pretty... some when put together, seem messy... and others even seem to be missing. But what if those “not too pretty” pieces, and the messiness have an inner beauty and purpose that will be revealed over time, and what if the missing pieces leave room for God to transform everything into something more beautiful than we could ever imagine... ✨🙏🏽💗💞
I could happily get “lost” in this mystical, magical wonderland of snow and sun. The beauty of the snow resting on the branches and being held by the trunks of the trees, the sun greeting and warming all in its path, and the shadows reaching out to invite us in.
